• At The Father’s Heart, there are many different areas where you can volunteer once you arrive at the outreach location.
  
• You may be asked to do several of the following activities in one outreach. You can help with:
  • Set-up and tear down
  • Evangelism
  • Prayer
  • Serving the meals
  • Handing out groceries
  • Passing out Bible literature
• Our prayer is that you will be the hands and feet of Jesus, that you will show the love of Christ to those that need to see it, and that the Lord will bless you exceedingly and abundantly while you are actively serving Him by ministering to others on the streets.

Scheduling

• If you are a ministry leader and would like to sign up to volunteer at The Father's Heart (TFH), please first look at our Schedule and see which dates interest you.
• TFH goes out on Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturdays during the day.  Once a few dates are picked please contact Anne Loria at contact@thefathersheartroc.org to see if there is availability. If the date is available your ministry group will be listed for that date on our Schedule. 

Preparation Before Serving

• We have a few videos posted on the Videos & Photos page that you can have your group watch to prepare them for what to expect when they come to volunteer. 

Day of Serving

• We would be so blessed if your group could be at the outreach event from start to finish! If you could arrive about 1 hour to 30 minutes prior to the time listed on our Schedule and stay until about 30 minutes after the end of the outreach to help with the pickup we would greatly appreciate it!
  • If your group is not able to do this, we are still excited for you to come out and volunteer with The Father's Heart.

Cancellations

• If an issue arises and you have to cancel your ministry group's volunteering date, please contact Anne at the earliest possible time.
  
• If TFH needs to cancel due to weather or for some other reason, Anne will contact the leader of the group as soon as possible so you can plan accordingly.

Closing Information

• If we need to cancel an outreach due to weather, etc. we will post it on our Schedule and also share any updates on Facebook (ID: The Fathers Heart Roc) and Instagram (ID: thefathersheartroc).
• If you are leading a group and have made prior arrangements with TFH ministry, we will also contact your group leader directly so that they can pass the information along to you.
