About Redeeming Love
Redeeming Love (RL) is a branch of The Father's Heart ministry that focuses on serving addicted and exploited women on the streets of Rochester.
This branch of The Father's Heart (TFH) Ministry started in June 2021. It had been on Anne's heart for some time to reach out to the hurting, addicted, and/or trafficked women who were living on the streets of Rochester. Along with women volunteers, who shared the same desire to minister to vulnerable and exploited women, they began their outreach by taking out the van the TFH used for pick-ups and loading it up with some bags filled with toiletries, lunches, snacks, drinks, Bibles, and a list of TFH outreach locations and various agencies that could help them get off the streets.
To this day, the women who volunteer with Redeeming Love (RL) continue to drive all throughout the City of Rochester looking for women in need, and when one is found, they stop to talk with them and ask them if they want food, toiletries, and prayer. Through these consistent, weekly interactions, the Redeeming Love volunteers have been able to establish and gain trust with these women and have also become a light in their lives as a consistent source of hope and a beacon of truth. In addition, a van was purchased specifically for Redeeming Love for the weekly outreaches which has been a tremendous blessing for the ministry.
The heart of Redeeming Love is to show these women that they aren't forgotten, that they are so loved by Jesus, and that He is the Chain-breaker. Like the woman with the issue of blood (found in Mark 5:25), if these women would just reach out and touch the hem of His garment, they too can be healed and set free.

Serving with Redeeming Love
Volunteers make everything in our ministry happen, from praying for the Redeeming Love Street Ministry team, prepping the items used to fill the bags for the weekly outreaches, or going out in the van to minister to the women on the streets during outreach events. If you are a woman and interested in serving with the Redeeming Love team, please read through the opportunities below, complete the Volunteer Form and we will contact you with ways you can help.
Prayer
The Redeeming Love prayer team prays for the Street Ministry Team before they go out to minister as well as during each outreach. These women are an essential part of the ministry as they pray for guidance and protection, that the Gospel is proclaimed to each woman encountered, and that the women are set free from their addictions. If you are interested in signing up to pray for the teams as they go out at different times each week, please indicate this on the Volunteer Form.
Preparation
On Monday and Wednesday mornings you can help the Redeeming Love team by creating bags that are handed out to the women on the streets or by preparing food and gathering snacks and drinks that are handed out to the women. The volunteers make up the bags for the weekly outreaches as well as the toiletry packs from donated items that are handed out during the Redeeming Love outreaches.
Street Ministry
If you desire to be on the Street Ministry team so you can minister to and pray with the women on the streets, then please let us know the days you are available when you complete the Volunteer Form. As a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you will have an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and bring hope to women who are in desperate need of His redemptive love.
